Dr. Danielle Grigsby is a native Tennessean, born and raised in Winchester. Dr. Grigsby obtained her veterinary medical degree from St. George’s University in 2013 after completing her clinical year at The University of Tennessee. She completed an additional year of training at Blue Pearl Veterinary Partners in a rotating internal medicine, emergency and surgical internship. After her internship, Dr. Grigsby worked at Southside Animal Hospital for several years. At Southside as well as BluePearl, Dr. Grigsby gained business and leadership experience which ultimately led to her goal of practice ownership. Dr. Grigsby values the human-animal bond and creating relationships with her patients and their owners to provide the best well rounded medical care. In March of 2022, Dr. Grigsby and her husband Bryan purchased Fairview Animal Clinic and her dream was set into motion.

Dr. Grigsby’s medical interests include intensive internal medicine cases, emergency medicine, preventative care, and palliative care. Dr. Grigsby has a passion for golden retrievers, spaniels and breed related disease processes. She is also a rescue advocate and contributes to local shelters and rescues. She is involved in the Golden Lifetime study as well as breed related research. She values the fear free approach and strives to make every patient’s experience less stressful in a veterinary environment.
Dr. Grigsby and her husband Bryan live in Nashville with their two children Evangeline (Evie) and James, four dogs (Charlie, Millie, Summit and Pearl), and one cat (Rainbow Rocky Top). When not at the vet clinic she enjoys being with her family, being close to water, cooking, and being outdoors.
